i love technology. it’s taken art to such a whole, new beautiful level. take this little video. first off, it’s so well done, so amazingly peaceful just to watch. yeah, it could have been done 10, 20, 30 years ago - but it’d take a whole team of people. justin probably did this in his free time, maybe even on the plane back. and now so many people can see it and experience it… just awesome.

but more so, i just love the combination of media. poems are beautiful - but they are just words. spoken poetry is beautiful - but it’s very fleeting, you only can experience that poem read in that setting. i love photography - but it’s stuck in time. multiple photographs, video is awesome - it gives you that depth and extra dimension that photography seems to lack. music is perhaps my favorite form of art, but it’s just for the ears.

and then there is this type of art, which just straight up combines everything. that i find so cool, so fun to experience. it’s kind of stimulating all of your art receptors at the same time.

perhaps a poor excuse for actually experiencing life, but as a form of remembering, capturing and sharing: i think it’s the cat’s pajamas.
